paw prints

My class earned 20 paw prints this week and that means they earned an extra recess!  So, we went out yesterday at the end of the day.  Several of my students play the guitar in our after school program and a couple of them got their guitars out and started playing.  It was a great way to end the day.

    omg. I wish I had been there. i would have sang Sitting on the dock of the bay for them as they strummed along.

    I think recess is a great way to celebrate the paws. Simple, but so fun.

    They have practice every Wed. I bet Heise tunes them.

    I offered recess or computer lab time. They chose recess this time.
