field trip

I promised Henry a trip to Butler, if they made it to the Final Four again this year.  We finally made it up there today.  We found two unlocked doors and then, bam, we were on the court!  Henry loved every minute of it.  Hinkle Fieldhouse is a beautiful building.  I loved the old creaky, patched up floor.  Now, I want to see a game there.

  1. I think it's really fun to be in an empty sports arena. In high school some friends and I went through a phase where we chilled all the time on the IU football field. But I've never looked for unlocked doors in Haas Pavilion to sneak into the basketball court. This field trip looks awesome!

  2. Great picture. I'm surprised it was open and that you could walk on the court.

  5. I think that's a really great trip. I love the pic. There's a restaurant called Zest near Butler that's really good.

I went into the UCBerkeley football field one dark night with some pals. We ran around. It was fun enough that I didn't forget it.
