You're in the mud, in the maze of her imagination

I've been tutoring a kid from China for over a year now. His mom told me yesterday that he wanted to take a semester off.  I was relieved for a minute, then starting beating myself up about it. I wondered what had I done wrong and why he wanted to quit. Of course, it was all my fault. Everything is always all my fault. I can't think any other way. I got a message from him less than 24 hours later that he wanted to tutor. I was in Indianapolis at a hockey game, but it was almost over, so I said sure!  Well I couldn't hear him and I didn't have my headphones. I had to hang up.  I need to find out why he wanted to quit and why he wants to start again! I need answers.
